Obituary

APAP BOLOGNA. AMY née Gatt Rutter, widow of the late the Noble Mario Apap Bologna, and secondly of the late Captain Joseph Psaila Manche, on November 17 at Casa Antonia, in her 97th year, comforted by the rites of Holy Mother Church. She leaves to mourn her loss, her sons Peter and his wife Alaine, Michael and his wife Patricia, her son-in-law Leo Vassallo Cesareo, her daughter-in-law, Annie Apap Bologna, her grandchildren Kate Dodd, Sarah Apap Bologna, Paul Apap Bologna, Christina Meli Bugeja, Christopher Vassallo Cesareo, Francesca Cassar and their respective spouses, Dominic, Greta, Michael, Katya and Steve, her great-grandchildren Thomas and James Dodd, Andrew and Matthew Apap Bologna, Mark, Thomas and James Meli Bugeja, Jack and Alexander Vassallo Casareo, Anna and Sophie Cassar, her sister Connie Fiteni, her many nephews and nieces, and other relations and friends. The funeral will take place on Thursday, November 20 at 9.30 a.m. at Lija Parish Church.

Christmas Musical

The Don Bosco Oratory in Gozo will stage a Christmas musical to mark the 125th anniversary of the Calling of Our Lady of Ta' Pinu, and the 150th anniversary of the Lourdes apparitions.

Marija ta' Nazaret will first be performed at the oratory on Saturday. Performances will also be held on Sunday and November 29. All shows start at 7.30 p.m.

Qualifications meeting

The Malta Qualifications Council will be holding an information meeting on the European Qualifications Framework at its premises in 16/18, Dawret it-Torri, Sta Luċija on December 10 at 3.30 p.m.

Registration, which costs €15 and includes printed material and refreshments, is available at valerie.a.attard@gov.mt.

Debate on workers' participation

A public debate on Workers' Participation in Malta will be held at the University tomorrow from 5 to 7.30 p.m. It will be chaired by Prof. Peter Serracino Inglott and held at Erin Serracino Inglott Hall.

Floral club lunch

The Floral Club will be holding its annual Christmas lunch at Villa Arrigo in San Pawl Tat-Tarġa on December 4. Those interested can call Agnes Melillo on 2137 8716 by December 1.
