Vandalised

The Żebbuġ local council thought well of flagging a vandalised traffic mirror before repairing it. It placed a sign right behind it saying: "This road sign was vandalised by brainless people. It's not right that the council's money is wasted in this way".

Its funny really because i just had a mirror put up by the generous local council, a few days later some smart ass smashed it to pieces and thats here in Gozo, so what this all about it seems that this stupidity is spreading to our peaceful island of Gozo, Please keep your problems in malta but don't involve us thankyou veruymuch, although i condemn this sort of vandelsim they are only hurting themselves, besides someone already said 7 YEARS OF BAD LUCK maybe an old wife's tale but in this case i hope its true.

HAHAHAHA what the hell is that about?

On a more serious note, the local council should know that two wrongs don't make a right, especially when human safety is concerned.

Maybe these people hate mirrors, being afraid to see their own faces and discover their true miserble selves.

Carrot and Stick:

1. Offer a substantial reward for information leading the the conviction of the culprit(s).
2. The guilty party made to pay for the old (broken) mirror and the new replacement mirror (to include clear up and installation costs including VAT).
3. At least 100 hours of supervised community service to the Council in the area the mirror was installed.

If these brainless individuals were doing what they are doing to little Malta, when caught as we have cameras and cctv's in every main roads, streets etc., they will not be fined, but i think they will be strung up by their nuts or what ever from th nearest broken mirror, so that passers by can see their miserable expression on their faces.

It seems that these 'sick' people are doing the rounds of vandalising traffic mirrors. Most of the Swieqi and Madliena traffic mirrors have been vandalised for the umpteenth time posing a danger to both humans and vehicles. Hats off to the local councils for replacing them in time hence avoiding potential accidents
