Vassallo and Mizzi dominate KF Class
The Karting Club (Malta) held the second round of races from the Cafe Oasis Championship at Ħal Far on Sunday.
The races were scheduled for an earlier date but had to be post-poned due to bad weather.
In the KF Class, Jacques Mizzi and Glen Vassallo produced a thrilling contest that saw Mizzi winning one of the three races in store, the other two going Vassallo's way. Chris Seguna was third.
All three kart drivers participated with a Maranello chassis and a TM engine.
In the 125cc Restricted Class, young Gianluca Dingli (BRM chassis and PRD engine) led the way in all three heats.
Jean Paul Pace and Ramon Caruana Smith placed second and third respectively.
The Fun Class event saw the participation of nine drivers. They all raced in a friendly atmosphere and were given a memento at the end of the competition.
